Business Philosophy
My business philosophy is simple - treat my customers as I would want to be treated. I strive to be on top of the market and relay this information to my clients, be available, be a good listener, be diligent and meticulous, and always be honest and ethical.
Education and Training
After graduating from Villanova University, I worked for four years as a commercial real estate appraiser for Moran & Associates in Stamford, CT. Subsequently, I worked for Mutual of New York and Nomura Securities in New York City as a real estate asset manager and analyst, where I was responsible for the management of multi-million dollar investments, including foreclosed properties, new construction projects, first mortgage loans, and equity investments. I completed the real estate licensing requirements for the State of Connecticut in the spring of 2004 and have worked at Coldwell Banker in Madison, Connecticut, since 2007.
Community Involvement
Upon moving back to my hometown of Madison nearly 19 years ago, I immediately became involved in the Madison Newcomers' Club in order to reestablish my roots here. The Newcomer's Club is a social and civic organization that annually raises thousands of dollars for local charities and scholarships. In 2005-2006, I served as the president of the Newcomers' Club. Presently, I volunteer for the Madison Food Pantry and Daniel Hand High School Baseball Boosters and enjoy spending my spare time at my children’s tennis matches and baseball games.
Personal Background
As a child, my family moved often with my father's career in sales. In 1978, my family finally settled in Madison and has been here ever since. My husband and I lived in Darien, CT, and worked in New York City for many years. After the birth of our first child, we decided to move back to my hometown to raise our family.
